Our History
Founded in 2010, Khidmat ul Nisa Welfare Society (KNWS) means to “Serve a woman“. In our short timespan, we’ve managed to start four initiatives that includes:
1. Adopt A child’s Education (ACE)
2. Centre for Special Needs (CSN)
3. Hunarmand – Vocational training programs
4. IT training center for students
Our Mission
Cultivating Excellence in a Nurturing Environment
The KNWS, with its affiliate projects ACE and CSN believes in the innate potential of its students to excel. A positive attitude is transmitted consciously and subtly to help students develop into productive, progressive members of the community. We aim to provide a safe and inclusive environment where students can thrive academically, socially and emotionally, to come forth with confidence to engage with society proactively.

Empowering Diversity: KNWS Vision
Our vision for KNWS is to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that provides valuable support, guidance for individuals with special needs as well as less privileged children their families, and the wider community. Our services like comprehensive psychological assessments, behavior, speech and physiotherapy for special children. Formal education with computer and vocational training will enhance the wellbeing of each and every child. We aim to foster a sense of belonging, promote awareness, and empower individuals of all abilities to thrive and reach their full potential through job placements. We envision a platform that offers academic materials, community events, success stories, and a platform for connecting and sharing experiences. Together, let’s build a community that celebrates diversity and promotes inclusivity because we believe “TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE”

OUR Projects
Center for Special Needs (CSN)
We provide early intervention, treatment and specialized therapies to children with developmental needs from 5- 20 years and above (both genders). multi-disciplinary team work together towards a common goal to teach and train children with special needs to lead productive lives as useful part of our community.
Adopt a Child’s Education (ACE)
Adopt a child’s education offers free education , ensures access to learning opportunities for underprivileged individuals regardless of their financial background. It encompasses academic instruction tailored to individual needs, promoting cognitive development, literacy, numeracy, and social skills essential for personal growth and integration into society

Psychological & Behavioral Services
Our qualified Clinical Psychologist support children and adolescent with behavioral, learning and other developmental issues and develop their skills which are needed for success and independence.
Art & Vocational Therapy
Our art and vocational therapist help the children to develop dexterity, coordination, fine motor and integration skills as well as the ability to perform essential functions of feed, bathing and dressing.
Speech & Language Therapy
Our speech therapist support learners to develop our strengthen skills that are necessary for communication in a variety of settings as well as support their capacity to develop independence and meaningful relationships.
Physical Therapy
Our Physiotherapists identify and treat problems related to movement, balance and posture that present challenges for children and adolescent with special need.
