Fit 5 Training Program was organized by Special Olympics Pakistan (SOP) at CSN from August 2023 to October 2023. They supervised activities to improve our students’ flexibility, strength, and balance. 7 students were qualified and selected for the Fit 5 Program. Today, these students participated in the Fit 5 competition organized by Special Olympics Pakistan (SOP) at Defense Stadium, Lahore Cantt. Alhamdulillah, our students grab 2nd, 3rd, and 6th positions in these competitions.

We are always trying our best to give our children real-world exposure. Our students participated in a Mega Art Event at the Children’s Library Complex, which The Trust School organized. We thank Mrs. Saira Yousaf, founder of TTS, for enabling our children to show their talents. They made paintings on different themes and were awarded wonderful prizes and certificates. Free Physical and Mental Health Camp
was organized in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Lahore South and Phoenix Foundation for Research and Development for the students, their parents, and staff members of the Centre for Special Needs and Adopt A Child’s Education ( projects of KNWS).
A team of eminent doctors comprising general physicians, orthopedics, and specialists in alternative medicine gave their valuable services to our
students and families. The following services were given:
– Screening for Hepatitis B and C
– Medical check-up
– Nutrition guidelines
– Psychological health guidelines
We sincerely thank Dr.Noor uz Zaman, Dr. Sadia, Mrs.Sumaira Noor, Ms. NailaZia, Dr. Momin, and Dr. Ashfaq Ahmad for the kind gesture and services to our students and their families.

A dental checkup was arranged for the Centre for Special Needs students because we always care about our students’ health.
Dr Arooba Akbar and her team extended their expertise to our students.
Mr. Tariq, Colgate’s oral hygiene officer, distributed gift packs to the children and briefed them about dental hygiene.
All students promised to brush their teeth at least twice a day

AIMC-LC, in collaboration with Todds Welfare Society, held an interesting activity at the Centre for Special Needs to educate parents in introducing their children with special needs to pets to improve their cognitive functioning and behavioral alterations.
“Pawsitive Connections”
Animal Assisted Therapy harnesses the profound human-animal bond. It employs creatures like cats, dogs, and horses in purposeful therapeutic sessions, addressing physical, mental, emotional, and social goals. Studies have found that children with autism interact and engage more in the presence of a therapy animal. All the students were very excited and enjoyed the activity. They hold and patted the 🐈 cats lovingly ❤️
Students of the Centre for Special Needs and Adopt A Child’s Education( KNWS) celebrated the 76th Independence Day in a beautiful ceremony. They sang milli songs, gave tribute to our Founder Quaid e Azam by presenting his sayings, spoke about the history behind the creation of Pakistan. Teachers also threw light on the importance of our Independence Day.
Our students wore green and white dresses because they
love Pakistan and believe “Pakistan is hope. It is compassion. It is excellence. It is valor.”.

A beautiful Sports Gala of Khidmat ul Nisa Welfare Society was organized in which students of both projects, “CENTRE FOR SPECIAL NEEDS & ADOPT A CHILD’S EDUCATION, “enthusiastically participated. It was an inclusive model where a normal child helped a special child in every game.
The event started with a beautiful march past both projects in which about 130 students marched after the flag of Pakistan. All guests gave standing ovations to these special and underprivileged students.
Other events included the PT show, Lemon race, chaati race, football skills, young athletes hurdles race and not the least, Wheelchair race, which was especially applauded by the crowd.
Dr. Izhar ul Haq Hashmi, Director PWTD; Dr. Seema Arif, UMT; Zeeshan Raja, CEO 101 Incredible Women; Mrs. Anwar Tabassum, USA; Ms. Naila Zia, Rotarian, Executive Committee members and staff members of KNWS and parents of students attended the event.

Annual Result Day & Parent Teacher Meeting was held at the Centre for Special Needs.
We celebrated the achievements of our students and marked the end of their successful term.
Achieving and mastering the goals of their tasks is an important, significant accomplishment and is a testament to teachers’ hard work and dedication.
Congratulations to our students and their parents. We want to thank our amazing parents for their continued support and feedback as we celebrate this special milestone. Your involvement has been instrumental in helping our students.

Having fun is an essential part of a happy life and a powerful tool for boosting creativity, productivity, and overall well-being.
We always tried our best to arrange fun activities for our students to build their self-confidence, socialization, and interpersonal relationships with their classmates outside their school; in this connection, today, a healthy and full fun activity was arranged.

We celebrated a decade of extreme dedication. It was a great day, much more than an anniversary – it was a testament to resilience, love, and triumph. Watching our children from inclusion take the stage, their faces lit up with determination and joy.
It was a profound reminder of the incredible strength and courage they possess. Each performance showcased its talents, filling the air with indescribable pride.
In between laughter, tears, and shared moments, we had the honor of welcoming generous donors and guests, including Dr. Seema Arif, UMT, Mrs. Samreen Tariq, Beacon House, Mr. Waseem Mahmood, Mrs. Saira Tahir, Trust School, Naila Zia, and many other whose massive support has been the cornerstone of our journey.

Students of KNWS participated in the Islamic Arts Competition for Young Artists.
This competition was organized to commemorate the First UNESCO International Day of Islamic Art by Ilm-o-Fan (علم و فن) in collaboration with Alhamra Arts Council and Calligraphy Guild Pakistan. Our students not only participated in this unique competition but also made their place in medals winning. We are proud of our students 😘Well done, our shining stars ⭐️

Students of the Centre for Special Needs and Adopt A Child’s Education represent their Organization “Khidmat ul Nisa Welfare Society by attending a beautiful function in connection with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, organized by PWTD and Social Welfare, Punjab, at Alhambra Hall.
A beautiful program was celebrated in connection with Eid Milad un-Nabi, where Students of KHIDMAT UL NISA WELFARE SOCIETY paid tribute to our Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Salalah Alayhi in a beautiful and soulful manner. Our donors, parents of our students, and dignitaries from different fields of life attended it. Students recited Darood, and Naat and spoke about Seerat un–Nabi SAW.
A beautiful Dua was presented by special students of the Centre For Special Children, which the guests highly appreciated. The President of KNWS highlighted the organization’s objectives, which were established ten years ago according to the teachings of Prophet SAW, i.e., to help the needy, education, and love for children. Dr Seema Arif, Head Education Deptt. UMT, Ms Naila Zia, a renowned social worker and Rotarian, Ghazala Kaleem, Principal CSN, and Mrs. Ayesha Imran Murtaza, Director of HR department, Fountain House, also spoke on this occasion.

Cerebral Palsy Heroes You are born to Sparkle
World Cerebral Palsy Day is celebrated every year worldwide on 6 October.
To honor our heroes, a graceful evening was organized today at the Centre For Special Needs in collaboration with Physiologic. Parents of students, doctors of health, teachers and students of psychology and health sciences attended the event.
As chief guest, Dr. Syed Shakil, your Rehman, Director, Faculty of Rehabilitation and Allied Health Sciences, Ripha International University, graced the occasion. Parents of students getting special education and physical therapy from CSN spoke highly about the services being rendered by the CSN & Physiogic team.

Center for Special Needs students celebrated Defense Day with utmost pride and enthusiasm.
